On 11th September, 2025, GVO Torit field office conducted the first phase of distribution of agricultural seeds and tools to seventeen (17) farmer groups, comprising a total of 461 beneficiaries. RRC-Torit County was present to witness the distribution exercise. Payams represented were Nyong Payam and Ifowotu Payam, and five(5) Bomas are: Enyif, Fodof Odo, Ilangi, Moti, Hawai Messer.
The distribution exercise took place at the Eastern Equatoria Women’s Association Compound-Torit. The agricultural seeds received by each farmers’ group include: maize, kudra, cabbage, collards, tomatoes, and watermelons. Farming tools they received include: hoes, malodas, spades, and handles.
