Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) successfully completed a two-day capacity-building training aimed at strengthening advocacy for women’s rights. The sessions covered key frameworks, including the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW), the Maputo Protocol, and women’s housing, land, and property rights in South Sudan. Participants also explored the role of shadow reporting in amplifying CSO voices and holding governments accountable. The training concluded with a joint press statement, reaffirming a shared commitment among CSOs to work collectively in advancing gender equality, influencing policy, and promoting the rights of women and girls.
